Learn more about why work at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Senior Development Manager supports the chapter’s fundraising and volunteer engagement efforts and is responsible for the planning and execution of special events, managing donor and volunteer relationships, and ensuring accurate chapter operations. This role supports key initiatives, leads special events, manages volunteer relationships, and fosters a donor-centric culture. If you have a desire to do impactful work, while supporting a mission and making a difference, we invite you to apply.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nFundraising\nResponsible for a portfolio of fundraising events including, but not limited to budgeting, planning, recruitment and management of sponsorship and committees. Accountable for revenue of assigned events.\n\nCoordinate logistics for fundraising events including, but not limited to venue selection, vendor management, event execution, and volunteer support.\n\nTrack event budgets, timelines, and post-event reporting.\n\nMay support area and chapter marketing and communications in collaboration with Field Marketing Partners.\n\nDonor & Volunteer Support\nFollow a structured moves management process to advance donor relationships through identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship stages.\n\nResponsible for recruitment and management of volunteer leadership and donor engagement for events and fundraising initiatives.\n\nResponsible for building and stewarding relationships in the community.\n\nCommunicate, educate, and raise awareness about CF and the Foundation’s mission to people with CF, families, and community members.\n\nMaintain an up-to-date understanding of the broad portfolio of CFF offerings made available by other Community-facing departments and make referrals as appropriate.\n\nCRM & Data Management\nMaintain accurate records of donor and volunteer interactions in the CRM system.\n\nGenerate reports to support fundraising analysis and donor engagement strategies.\n\nEnsure data accuracy and compliance with privacy and fundraising regulations.\n\nPolicy & Procedure Compliance\nFollow all organizational and departmental policies and procedures related to fundraising, event planning, data management, and donor relations.\n\nProvide accurate forecasting of revenue and expenses for events.\n\nSupport internal documentation and reporting requirements as requested.\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED\nFour-year degree or equivalent education/experience.\n\nMinimum of four years of fundraising and volunteer management experience.\n\nStrong interpersonal communication skills and customer service.\n\nAttention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office suite.\n\nAbility to analyze data and reports.\n\nREPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:\nReports to the Executive Director. No direct reports.\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\nWork nights and weekends, as necessary.\n\nReliable transportation and ability to travel to meetings or events.\n\nSitting, bending, reaching, and walking.\n\nSome heavy lifting may be required.\n\nThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job.
