You should be comfortable operating without a playbook, making product decisions, and using modern AI tools to move faster and increase leverage.\nYou won’t just execute, you’ll help shape the product and how we build it.\nYour north star: Shipping high-quality product that drives clarity, adoption, and real user value.\nWe’re open to engineers, product managers, or designers who are highly technical and want to become more hands-on in building product.\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild & Ship Product\nOwn features end-to-end from idea to production across frontend and backend.\n\nShip quickly without sacrificing quality.\n\nDrive Product Decisions\nTranslate product ideas into shipped experiences, even if that means learning new tools or technologies along the way.\n\nCreate Leverage Through Systems\nBuild reusable components, abstractions, and workflows that make the team faster over time not just one-off solutions.\n\nMove Fast with AI\nUse tools like Claude, Codex, Cursor, and others to accelerate development, debug faster, and explore better solutions.\n\nIterate & Improve\nShip fast, gather feedback, and continuously improve what you build.\n\nBalance speed with long-term maintainability.\n\nContribute to Architecture\nHelp design systems that scale with the product and team.\n\nMake pragmatic decisions not over-engineered ones.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\nExperience building and shipping product either as an engineer, product manager, or technical designer\n\nStrong product thinking, you care deeply about user experience and outcomes\n\nAbility to go from idea → execution (you’ve built things, not just spec’d them)\n\nComfortable getting hands-on technically (or actively working toward it)\n\nExperience working in fast-paced environments with high ownership\n\nAbility to operate with ambiguity and make decisions without perfect information\n\nTechnical expectation:\nYou don’t need to be a senior engineer but you should be able to build, learn quickly, and become dangerous in a modern stack.\nBonus (not required):\nStrong engineering background (React, Node, etc.)\n\nExperience as a PM or designer shipping technical products\n\nExperience building side projects or tools independently\n\nScrunch is an equal opportunity employer.
