For more information, visit: www.sitime.com.\nJob Summary\nAs an Applications Engineer at SiTime you will work directly with system architects, validation engineers and others on the applications engineering team on configuring SiTime’s flagship timing devices focused on the wireless and datacenter markets. \nYour primary focus will be on performance optimization of our PLL devices. This will require extensive lab work and customized scripting, as well as interacting with cross-functional teams, to achieve the best performance possible.\nCoursework in circuit analysis \nGood understanding of frequency domain signals analysis, including BODE plots, FFTs, spectrum analysis. \nExperience using scripting languages (Python preferred) \nExperience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and function generators \nKnowledge of PLL architecture as an example of a closed loop control system\nKnowledge of transmission line effects and termination schemes (CMOS, LVPECL, LVDS, etc.) \nSolder and rework experience\n Responsibilities:\nSupport customers with technical questions, schematic reviews, data capture and debug. \nSupport the development of collateral for New Product Introductions, including IBIS models, Evaluation board design/verification, Application Notes, GUI requirements/verification. \nAutomating lab routines with Python\nQualifications & Requirements: \nBSE in Electrical Engineering (or similar)\nEnglish proficiency is required, including the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and perform job responsibilities in a professional business environment.\nDesired Characteristics & Attributes:\nMust be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities \nSelf-starter, not afraid to ask questions and seek guidance \nCurious with a strong desire to grow\nGood attention to detail. \nCompensation: \nAt SiTime, we believe great work deserves great rewards.
