In this position, the candidate will lead the internal team to help customers to use our PLL-based timing products and should be able to guide other engineers and customers for lab measurement techniques and practices for high-speed signals.\nWe value diverse experiences, perspectives, and career paths, and welcome candidates who are excited to contribute to our mission.\nResponsibilities:\nInteract with customers who want to use our PLL products\nMatch them to the best product within our portfolio based on required features and performance\nGuide them to get the best performance from our devices for their specific configuration\nProvide training on new timing products to internal and external audiences\nQualifications & Requirements:\nKnowledge of advanced techniques for measuring high speed signals\nUnderstanding of common differential termination schemes for clock signals\nFamiliar with phase noise and RMS jitter as it related to specifying and measuring timing signals\nAbility to review layout and make recommendations to improve signal integrity and jitter performance\nSupport of timing integrated circuit devices\nKnowledge of basic PLL theory\nUnderstanding Python as used for lab automation\nFamiliar with common lab bench test equipment including oscilloscope measurement techniques for high-speed signals and power supply noise\nUnderstanding of good design practices for signal integrity and how to measure this on an evaluation or customer printed circuit board\nAbility for basic EVB soldering rework\nUnderstanding of common schematic capture tools for design and design reviews\nExperience with customer support in-person and via email or other web based tools for integrated circuits\nTime management skills for multitasking between projects\nEnglish proficiency is required, including the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and perform job responsibilities in a professional business environment.\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field with experience related to the position\n Desired Characteristics & Attributes:\nAbility to mentor other engineers\nTeach theory and measurement techniques to support internal and external customers\nKnowledge of PCIe conformance and lab measurement techniques for jitter and signal integrity\n Compensation Range:\n At SiTime, we believe great work deserves great rewards.
