For more information, visit: www.sitime.com.\nJob Summary\nSitime is looking for talented Staff customer engineer eager to work to support our customers with our industry-leading low jitter timing products focusing on AI datacenters and communication systems. The customer engineering team routinely collaborates with marketing, reginal sales, design and product engineering teams to meet customer applications’ timing requirements. Your everyday work will have a significant impact on customer relationships, winning designs and growing revenue across Sitime’s current and future product portfolios.\nWe value diverse experiences, perspectives, and career paths, and welcome candidates who are excited to contribute to our mission.\n Responsibilities:\nDevelop deep understanding of assigned key customer system timing architecture and technical requirements, provide pinpoint assistance to customer timing designs.\nOwn and drive-to-completion design-wins by working with reginal sales to identify design-in opportunities, architecting Sitime timing solutions and resolve technical issues pre- and post-sale\nIdentify and optimize customer application’s clock tree and timing architecture. Provide best possible solutions and address technical issues during the process.\nTrain reginal sales team and channel partners by creating technical documentations such as white papers, application notes and user manuals\nFeedback customer pain-points in timing to help Sitime roadmap and strategy for future portfolio\nIt is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position. \nQualifications & Requirements: \nDeep understanding of timing specifications and requirements in communication systems, enterprise and data-center applications. Be able to perform lab bench testing for PCIe Gen7~8, SerDes (i.e., 224G) jitter/eye-opening compliances.\nHands on experiences on signal integrity. Be able to review customer schematics and PCB layout for noise coupling analysis and provide signal integrity recommendations.\nDesigns, debugs, and documents evaluation boards and uses associated software to enable and optimize the hardware\nSupport marketing and sales efforts with lab experimental data on next generation Products\nGood communication skills to provide prompt and insightful technical assistance to customers’ technical inquiries\nStrong understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuits. Familiar with phase lock loop (PLL) and MEMS fundamentals a plus\nHands on experience in Python scripting\n10+ years of application and design engineering experience in related areas\nEnglish proficiency is required, including the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and perform job responsibilities in a professional business environment.\nDesired Characteristics & Attributes:\nTeamwork: work within and across teams.
