For more information, visit: www.sitime.com.\nJob Summary\nWe are seeking an experienced Principal Customer Engineer for the Mobile IoT and Consumer Business Unit to serve as the technical leader for SiTime's most strategic customer engagements. This role combines deep system-level expertise, executive-level customer influence, and cross-functional leadership to drive customer success, shape product roadmaps, and accelerate the adoption of SiTime timing solutions across mobile, IoT, and consumer platforms. We value diverse experiences, perspectives, and career paths, and welcome candidates who are excited to contribute to our mission.\n Responsibilities:\nCustomer & Technical LeadershipOwn technical engagement for SiTime’s strategic Mobile IoT, and Consumer customers worldwide at the architectural and system levels.\nServe as the technical authority in customer discussions, escalations, and long-term trusted partnerships.\nShape customer adoption strategy by aligning system requirements, application trends, and business priorities. \n\nCross-Functional LeadershipCollaborate closely with MEMS/CMOS/Packaging/Systems R&D, Product Marketing, Quality, Operations, FAE, and Sales to enable customer success.\nOwn the cross-functional resolution of high-impact customer issues with clear accountability and prioritization.\nTranslate customer requirements, market trends, and competitive insights into product, architecture, and roadmap recommendations.\n\nSystem-Level Technical AuthorityProvide expert guidance on timing architecture, device selection, and system integration across Mobile, IoT & Consumer platforms.\nLead complex system-level debugging involving power, noise coupling, RF interaction, clock integrity, startup behavior, and field reliability.\nDrive root-cause analysis and define systemic corrective actions across customer designs and internal products.\n\nDefine timing architecture recommendations for next-generation mobile, IoT, and consumer platforms.\nInfluence customer system architecture decisions through deep expertise in timing, synchronization, clock distribution, power, RF interaction, and system reliability.\nIt is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position. \nQualifications & Requirements:\nMinimum of 10+ years of experience in customer engineering, applications engineering, system engineering, or related technical leadership roles.\nDeep expertise in system-level timing design and integration.\nExperience with MCUs and MPUs system-level and PCB careabouts is a plus.\nProven success owning highly complex customer engagements and driving resolutions across organizational boundaries.\nUnderstanding system-level application specifications, power, size, and deployment of timing solutions is critical.\nStrong ability to influence without authority and align technical decisions with business impact.\nBSEE in Electrical Engineering, with a MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field a plus.\nEnglish proficiency is required, including the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and perform job responsibilities in a professional business environment.\n Desired Characteristics & Attributes:\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.\nAbility to operate independently and drive outcomes in ambiguous, high-impact situations.\nPassion for technical excellence and customer success.\nPrior experience in end-product design that led to high-volume manufacturing would be a strong plus. \nResults & Impact\nAccelerates revenue growth and design-win success with strategic Mobile, IoT, and Consumer customers.\nEstablishes trusted-advisor relationships with senior technical and business leaders at key accounts.\nEnables successful customer adoption of SiTime solutions through proactive technical leadership and risk mitigation.\nInfluences product strategy and roadmap decisions through customer and market insights.\nDrives cross-functional alignment to accelerate execution, improve responsiveness, and achieve business objectives.\nCompensation: \nAt SiTime, we believe great work deserves great rewards.
