As a Principal MEMS Development Engineer, you will use your technical and creative problem-solving skills to push forward MEMS technology and engineer resonators for SiTime’s next-generation timing products. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position. \n Responsibilities:\nLead definition and execution of challenging technical projects. \nAdvise management of challenges, impact, recommendations.\nDevelop new or improved resonators, MEMS technologies and/or products.\nDesign MEMS devices and characterize their electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance on wafer level and/or device level. \nWork with process team to drive continuous improvement in MEMS yields.\nExtend and enhance automated infrastructure for MEMS design, measurements, and data analysis.\nDesign and analyze experiments to understand device physics, materials, and fabrication.\nInterface with local and overseas vendors.\nWork in cross-functional teams, including circuits, systems, and packaging.\nWorking/supporting other projects as needed. \n Qualifications & Requirements: \nPh.D. in ME, EE, Physics, or equivalent\nAt least 3 years of industry experience.\nSkilled scientist with ability to design, conduct, and analyze experiments.\nExcellent problem identification and problem-solving abilities.\nExcellent knowledge of mechanics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics.\nKnowledge in fundamentals of MEMS devices physics and fabrication.\nExperience with finite element simulation tools (COMSOL, ANSYS) and data processing tools (Matlab, Python).\nExcellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.\nPassion for delivering exceptional results. \n Desired Characteristics & Attributes:\n3 -10 years of industry experience.\nIntermediate to advanced knowledge of programing languages, circuits, metrology equipment and methods.\nExperience with Statistical analysis and tools such as R or JMP.\nKnowledge in MEMS microfabrication.\n Compensation Range: \nAt SiTime, we believe great work deserves great rewards.
