For more information, visit: www.sitime.com.\nJob Summary\nThe Electronics Lab Technician ensures reliable operation of the electronics laboratory and provides hands-on support to engineering teams. Responsibilities include maintaining lab equipment and infrastructure, supporting test devices and PCB assembly, preparing and executing test setups, and assisting with device testing and data collection. The role also includes shipment coordination, documentation support, and maintaining a safe, organized laboratory environment. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position. \nResponsibilities:\nMaintain laboratory equipment and work areas in safe, operational condition. \nTroubleshoot and resolve issues with bench equipment and test setups. \nManage inventory, calibration, and maintenance of lab tools, equipment, and consumables. \nDrive improvements to lab infrastructure, including ESD controls, tooling, and procedures. \nAssemble, rework, and repair PCBs, cables, and electronic components. \nPrepare test setups and support device testing by executing procedures and organizing results. \nAssist with data collection, processing, and preparation of technical reports. \nCoordinate shipments between sites and with external vendors.\nQualifications & Requirements: \nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering is preferred; candidates with relevant technical backgrounds will also be considered. \nHands-on experience with PCB assembly, rework, and repair \nSkills in circuit debugging, touch-up, and component-level rework. \nExperience in preparing technical documentation and reports \nFamiliarity with MATLAB or Python is a plus. \nExperience with automated instrument control is a plus\nAbility to safely lift, push, or pull up to 10-15 kg on an occasional basis and perform tasks such as climbing ladders to access or maintain equipment\nDesired Characteristics & Attributes:\nSelf-motivated and proactive; takes ownership of lab tasks and follows through to completion.\nCertain flexibility in schedule to support lab priorities (e.g., test runs, equipment downtime, or urgent troubleshooting).\nClear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document setups, results, and issues accurately.\nTeam-oriented and comfortable working across engineering functions in a fast-paced, hands-on lab environment.\nPositive, continuous-learning mindset with openness to new tools, procedures, and instrumentation.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy when assembling hardware, labeling samples, and recording measurements.\nMethodical and safety-minded (including ESD awareness); maintains an organised workspace and repeatable processes.\nCompensation: \nAt SiTime, we believe great work deserves great rewards.
