For more information, visit: www.sitime.com.\nJob Summary\nThe Validation Engineer performs extensive bench testing and data collection to ensure that our integrated circuits meet the performance and functionality targets. Validation engineers also work closely with design engineers to perform experiments and in-depth investigations for future designs.\n It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position. \n Responsibilities:\nAutomate lab data collection and data analysis using python programming language\nWork on schematic design of high-speed signal PCB\nDebug and analyze failures in devices returned by customers\nDevelop and document bench testing platforms for device validation and characterization\nConduct work for timing products including but not limited to synthesizers, buffers, analog and digital PLLs\nElaborate validation plans and execute validation tasks \nAnalyze bench data and prepare reports summarizing device performance\nQualifications & Requirements: \nMinimum Education Required: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent.\nField of Study: Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field\nYears of Experience: 3 (in related field)\nHands-on experience in the following areas:\n Serial communication protocols (I2C, SPI, RS232, UART, USB, CAN)\n Design tools for schematic and layout of mixed-signal PCB, preferably Allegro\n PCB signal integrity simulation tools, preferably Hyperlynx and Ansys\n PLLs and timing devices including synthesizers and buffers\n One year experience of regular use of python language\n Knowledge of lab automation using LabVIEW and/or python\n One year experience in bench hardware set up and debugging\nEnglish proficiency is required, including the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and perform job responsibilities in a professional business environment.\nDesired Characteristics & Attributes:\nGood communication skills (written and verbal)\nProblem solver\nAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions\nHands-on attitude in a lab environment\nA positive attitude and motivation to learn new skills\nHigh level of self-motivation and drive to make an impact \nCompensation Range: \nAt SiTime, we believe great work deserves great rewards.
