This role will work closely with Delivery, Platform and Capability teams in consuming in-house products, building and managing various AWS Cloud Environments running on different AWS Services.Essential Job Functions:\nBuild and maintain new infrastructure environments and capabilities\nCollaborate with Delivery teams to understand and meet the client requirements\nDrive the development and implementation of automation solutions to remove “toil”, streamline processes, reduce manual interventions, and enhance the overall efficiency of the product engineering and SRE teams.\nDevelop and maintain monitoring tools, alerts, and dashboards to provide visibility into system health and performance.\nProactively identifying and resolving any performance bottlenecks or availability issues\nImplement patching and vulnerability remediation policies\nManage IAM roles and conduct basic security audits \nBuild and administrate automated pipelines\nAdministrate source code repositories in ADO\nMentor, coach and share knowledge among team members\nWork as part of the incident response team; conduct post-incident analyses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures to avoid future incidents\nOther activities as may be assigned by your manager\nQualifications/ Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree from accredited college or equivalent combination of education and experience\nMinimum of 8+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in an AVP level role or external equivalent\n8 years of related experience preferred\nExperience and in-depth understanding of different AWS Services such as RDS-MSQL, Elastic beanstalk, EKS etc.\nExperience with Scrum or Agile methodologies\nExperience in Scripting and Automation using any Scripting Language preferably Python\nKnowledge and development experience with Terraform or CloudFormation\nIn-depth knowledge on any of the GIT platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub etc.\nExperience in Building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters\nExperience with Monitoring, Alerting and Dashboarding capabilities using CloudWatch and Datadog\nExperience with ITIL Methodologies in some of the areas\nMust Have experience with programming Languages such as Java or .Net\nPrior experience in working on a team\nStrong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills\nAbility to adapt to a changing environment\nSelf-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction\nExperience with Dashboarding and reporting Management\n#LI-AS1 #LI-Remote\nNote: This job description is not intended to be all inclusive or exclusive. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval.
