We are seeking an experienced Data Licensing Management Specialist to join the Data Licensing Management team. This role is responsible for managing third-party data supplier licensing, commercial governance, entitlement controls, supplier reporting, and operational implementation of data products across the organisation.\nAs a recognised subject matter expert, you will ensure supplier contractual requirements are translated into effective operational processes, product configurations, customer communications, compliance controls, and reporting obligations. You will also play a key role in driving automation, operational excellence, and data-driven decision making.\nWhat You Will Do\nOwn and govern the lifecycle of third-party data and licensing services, ensuring compliance with supplier agreements, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.\nLead the implementation and oversight of supplier licensing frameworks, entitlement models, and commercial controls across products and services.\nDrive operational excellence through process optimization, automation initiatives, and the establishment of sustainable governance and control frameworks.\nManage complex stakeholder relationships with data suppliers and internal partners, acting as the primary point of contact for licensing, compliance, and operational matters.\nOversee product and entitlement administration activities, ensuring accurate implementation and maintenance of data access structures and business requirements.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate licensing, compliance, and operational risks while supporting audit, reporting, and governance activities.\nProvide expert guidance and leadership on market data licensing, supplier policies, and strategic initiatives impacting the organization.\nWhat You Bring\nExtensive experience in market data, reference data, financial information services, licensing, entitlements, or a related financial services environment.\nStrong understanding of data licensing, commercial agreements, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.\nAdvanced technical proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, AI-enabled tools, and data analytics, with the ability to drive automation and operational efficiency.\nProven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and lead cross-functional initiatives across business, technology, operations, and supplier organizations.\nFluency in English and German, combined with strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities within regulated and controlled environments.\nIf you have any questions, check out our FAQ page or call Julia Schmidtat +41583998670.\nFor this vacancy we only accept direct applications.\nDiversity is important to us.
