Do you enjoy combining automation, operations, and innovation to build resilient services that are ready for production at scale? We are looking for an Application DevOps Engineer to help drive automated deployments, GitOps-based delivery, and infrastructure-as-code across cloud and on-premise environments. In this role, you will work closely with application development teams to ensure stable, low-latency, and secure operations while continuously improving deployment workflows, monitoring, and platform resilience.\nWhat You Will Do\nDesign, implement, and maintain automated deployment workflows using Ansible and GitLab CI/CD.\nDefine and continuously improve monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and runbooks to strengthen operational stability and incident response.\nDevelop automation and integration scripts in PowerShell, Python, Perl, Bash, and CMD, and work with structured formats such as XML, JSON, and XSL where required.\nOperate and support monitoring and job scheduling platforms such as Patrol, Elastic, Grafana, and Airflow.\nTake operational ownership of production services throughout their lifecycle, including deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, recovery, and continuous improvement.\nParticipate in a regular on-call rotation for business-critical production systems, responding to incidents outside regular business hours when required, and taking ownership of troubleshooting, mitigation, escalation, and service restoration.\nLead or actively contribute to incident response, root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews, turning lessons learned into monitoring, automation and reliability improvements.\nWhat You Bring\nStrong DevOps mindset with experience across the software delivery lifecycle and operating production systems.\nStrong scripting skills in Python and shell, along with practical experience using GitLab CI/CD; experience with Ansible and infrastructure-as-code is highly valued.\nSolid understanding of Linux, networking fundamentals\nHands-on experience operating production systems and containerized application platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift, including deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting.\nExperience with monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Splunk, or similar tools in containerized environments.\nClear communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nStrong hands-on troubleshooting skills across applications, Linux/Windows, TCP/IP networking, DNS, firewalls, TLS and containerized platforms.\nFluent English; German and/or Spanish are an advantage.\nIf you have any questions, check out our FAQ page or call Yuliya Stoykoat +34 917095993.\nFor this vacancy we only accept direct applications.\nDiversity is important to us.
