Come and shape the future of finance with us.\n Regulatory Data Analyst (80-100%)\nZurich|Up to 40% working from home possible| Reference8334\nDo you want to contribute to the integrity and transparency of Swiss financial markets through data-driven surveillance and regulatory oversight?\nWithin SIX Exchange Regulation, the Surveillance Assurance & Development team is responsible for the continuous enhancement of surveillance capabilities, data quality and the evolution of surveillance systems and methodologies.\nAs a Regulatory Data Analyst, you will act as the subject matter expert for Transaction Reporting under MiFID II (RTS 22) and Swiss FMIA requirements and help ensure that Transaction Reporting data is complete, accurate and fit for surveillance, compliance and enforcement purposes. You will work closely with Surveillance, Enforcement & Compliance and IT teams and contribute to the ongoing development of surveillance capabilities and data quality.\nWhat You Will Do\nAct as the subject matter expert for Transaction Reporting, including MiFID II (RTS 22) and Swiss FMIA reporting requirements.\nAnalyze transaction reporting data, perform data quality reviews and investigate reporting deficiencies, anomalies and completeness issues.\nConduct analyses based on transaction reporting data and provide expert support to surveillance, compliance and enforcement activities, including investigations, requests from regulatory and supervisory authorities, and reporting-related assessments.\nProvide Transaction Reporting expertise and contribute to surveillance initiatives, regulatory changes, system enhancements and continuous improvement of transaction reporting data quality in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.\nWhat You Bring\nUniversity degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\nExperience in finance, capital markets or stock exchange environments. Good understanding of trading activities and financial instruments (e.g. equities, bonds, ETFs, warrants and derivatives). Experience in regulatory transaction reporting is a strong advantage.\nStrong analytical mindset and good SQL and Python knowledge with the ability to analyze, investigate and validate large datasets.
