In addition to steering and managing liquidity for the custody and clearing businesses, we are also responsible for investments, as well as the operational and strategic management of cash and collateral holdings.\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Treasury Controller with a proven track record in banking or financial institutions. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing treasury controlling activities, including financial reporting, performance analysis, forecasting, and management information. We are looking forward to hear from you.\nWhat You Will Do\nOversee clearing and post trading business related to client payments and liquidity management, while focusing on P&L reconciliation, operational controls, and other controlling-related accounting tasks.\nProvide oversight of treasury activities including cash management, investments, and foreign exchange transactions, with a focus on reporting accuracy, controls, and governance.\nLead treasury reporting, planning, and forecasting activities, providing management with timely insights into liquidity and financial risk exposures.\nDrive the development of Treasury's data and analytics capabilities by establishing a robust data foundation for ad hoc analyses, KPI reporting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making and monitor and analyse treasury KPIs, balance sheet developments, Net Interest Income (NII), and investment performance across multiple entities.\nEnsure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of treasury data, reports, and reconciliations through robust controls and governance frameworks.\nPerform treasury-related accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end closing tasks and prepare accurate and timely financial reports for senior management, regulators, and other stakeholders.\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, and/or professional certifications such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are a plus.\nA minimum of 5 years of experience in Treasury Controlling or Financial Controlling\nCollaborator with a positive attitude and at the same time independent, customer-focused, accurate, and efficient way of working, with a keen eye for detail in controlling-related tasks.\nStrong analytical skills with experience in financial reporting, forecasting, performance analysis, and cash & liquidity management, supported by a solid understanding of controlling and reporting principles.\nAdvanced Excel skills and experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.Good analytical thinking, quick comprehension, and proficient in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively.\nIf you have any questions, check out our FAQ page or call Sara Perez de la Cuestaat +34 91 709 56 80.\nFor this vacancy we only accept direct applications in English.\nDiversity is important to us.
