TS/SCI required\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Red Team Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting adversary emulation, penetration testing, and red team operations against enterprise, aerospace, and mission-critical environments. This role requires strong technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and the ability to simulate real-world threat actors to improve organizational security posture across cyber and RF-enabled systems.\nThe ideal candidate will also possess experience or familiarity with missile defense systems, satellite communications, RF spectrum operations, and electronic warfare concepts to support advanced threat emulation and mission-focused assessments.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nOperations\nConduct red team engagements against enterprise networks, cloud environments, satellite communications systems, wireless infrastructure, and endpoint systems.\nExecute adversary emulation activities aligned to real-world threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).\nPerform internal and external penetration testing across multiple operational environments.\nSimulate cyber and RF-enabled attack vectors against mission systems and communications architectures.\nIdentify security weaknesses, exploit vulnerabilities, and demonstrate potential operational and business impacts.\nConduct social engineering, phishing, and physical security assessments where authorized.\nRF, Space, and Mission Systems Support\nSupport assessments involving RF communications, satellite systems, and electronic warfare-related technologies.\nEvaluate mission system resiliency against cyber-electromagnetic activities.\nAssist in identifying vulnerabilities associated with space-based communications and sensor architectures.\nContribute technical insight regarding missile defense architecture, operational capabilities, and system limitations.\nInfrastructure & Tooling\nDevelop, modify, and maintain offensive security tools, payloads, scripts, and automation.\nOperate command-and-control (C2) frameworks while maintaining operational security during engagements.\nConduct privilege escalation, lateral movement, persistence, and evasion activities in controlled environments.\nResearch emerging attack techniques and adversary methodologies.\nReporting & Collaboration\nDocument findings, attack paths, indicators of compromise, and remediation recommendations.\nProduce detailed technical reports and executive-level summaries.\nQUALIFICATIONS:Junior, Mid, Senior\n2-8+ years of experience in penetration testing, red teaming, offensive security, or related cybersecurity roles.\nStrong understanding of:Windows and Linux operating systems\nActive Directory attacks and administration\nNetworking and protocols and enterprise architectures\nWeb application security concepts\nCloud environments such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud\n\nExperience with offensive security tools such as:Cobalt Strike\nSliver\nMetasploit\nBurp Suite\nBloodHound\nImpacket\nNmap\nMythic or similar C2 frameworks\n\nProficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages:Python\nPowershell\nBash\nGo\nC#\n\nPrevious experience in missile defense systems or a strong understanding of missile defense capabilities and limitations.\nUnderstanding of satellite elements, orbital nomenclature, satellite subsystems, and mission purposes.\nExperience working within the RF spectrum and understanding RF band classifications and operational considerations.\nKnowledge of electronic warfare theory, concepts, and practical application.\nAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nStrong understanding of:\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nRelevant certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, OSEP, PNPT, CEH, CISSP\nExperience with:EDR evasion techniques\nThreat intelligence integration\nSDR (Software Defined Radio) technologies\nSatellite communications (SATCOM)\nSpace systems cybersecurity\nKubernetes and container security\nCI/CD pipeline security testing\n\n Desired Traits:Strong analytical and critical thinking skills\nCuriosity and passion for offensive security research\nAbility to operate independently in complex mission environments\nHigh attention to detail and operational discipline\nStrong written documentation and briefing skills\nAbility to adapt to rapidly evolving threat landscapes\n\nExample Technologies & EnvironmentsEnterprise Active Directory environments\nHybrid cloud infrastructures\nRF communications environments\nSatellite communications systems\nMission systems and aerospace platforms\nSIEM and EDR platforms\nSoftware Defined Radios (SDRs)\n\nCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS\nAt SIXGEN, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
