You’ll work alongside engineers, architects, and delivery specialists to develop technology that enables faster, safer decision-making for critical operations.\nYour work may include:\nFabric Underlay:Configure and harden Cisco Nexus Leaf/Spinearchitectures to support high-throughput, low-latency traffic.\nEnterprise Storage:Initialize and present NetAppstorage arrays, ensuring data-at-rest encryption is strictly enforced.\nInfrastructure Virtualisation:Build and harden a Hyper-Vcluster to host core services (AD/DNS/PKI).\nVMware VCF Integration:Assist in the enablement and integration of a VMware private cloud environment\nHardware Security:Initialise and manage HSM/KMSappliances, leading the \"Key Ceremonies\" required for a high-assurance environment.\nPhysical Build:Execute professional rack-and-stack and secure cabling in accordance with high-physical-security standards (e.g. SCIDA).\nWhat We’re Looking For\nWe value people who take ownership, think critically, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team tackling complex challenges. You don’t need to tick every box, but we’re particularly interested in people with skills/experience in:\nHands-on expertise with Cisco Nexus (or equivalent)and NetApp ONTAP (or equivalent).\nExperience deploying Hyper-Vin a high-availability, high-security configuration.\nExperience with VMware Cloud Foundation(e.g. VCF 5+)\nFamiliarity with hardware-based cryptographic systems (HSM/KMS).\nExperience with Windows Server 2022/2025\nJust as important are curiosity, strong problem solving ability, and the motivation to continuously improve how technology is designed and delivered.\nAbout SiXworks\nSiXworks is a specialist digital innovation partner delivering secure, mission-critical technology to Defence and National Security organisations.
