Our teams work on complex problems where reliability, security, and speed of innovation matter.\nWe’re looking for a Technical Delivery Assurance Coordinatorwho enjoys solving difficult technical challenges and wants their work to have real operational impact.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a Technical Assurance Delivery Coordinator, you’ll work closely with engineering, delivery, and service teams to ensure that delivery activities are aligned to agreed standards, governance processes, and lifecycle controls. The focus of the role is on tracking, reporting, and facilitating assurance activities rather than performing deep technical reviews.\nYour work may include:\nGovernance & Assurance Support\nCoordinate assurance activities across projects and delivery workstreams.\nMaintain governance frameworks, templates, and reporting packs.\nTrack progress against delivery lifecycle checkpoints (SDLC, STLC, Service Transition).\nSupport preparation for governance boards, audits, and assurance reviews.\nEnsure required documentation is complete, up-to-date, and stored appropriately.\nDelivery Coordination\nWork with delivery managers and technical teams to track milestones, risks, and dependencies.\nAssist in planning and scheduling governance reviews and checkpoints.\nFollow up on actions from assurance reviews and governance meetings.\nReporting & Stakeholder Engagement\nProduce regular status reports, dashboards, and summaries for stakeholders.\nHighlight documentation gaps and issues, and concerns in a clear and structured way.\nAct as a liaison between technical teams and governance stakeholders.\nSupport communication of assurance outcomes to programme leadership.\nProcess & Continuous Improvement\nSupport the continual improvement of delivery, assurance, and governance processes across programmes and projects.\nHelp standardise reporting and documentation practices.\nIdentify areas where delivery processes can be streamlined.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nWe value people who take ownership, think critically, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team tackling complex challenges. You don’t need to tick every box, but we’re particularly interested in people with skills/experience in:\nA delivery coordination, PMO, governance, or assurance support role.\nPromote pragmatic application of standards, controls, and delivery frameworks, balancing governance requirements with effective delivery outcomes.\nBasic understanding of software delivery and IT lifecycle concepts (SDLC, testing, service delivery).\nExperience supporting governance, reporting, or compliance activities.\nStrong organisational and documentation skills.\nExperience working with delivery or technical teams.\nExperience within public sector, defence, or regulated environments.\nFamiliarity with Agile delivery methods.\nAwareness of ITIL or service management concepts.\nExposure to cloud or technical delivery environments (AWS/Azure) - awareness only, not hands-on.\nJust as important are curiosity, strong problem solving ability, and the motivation to continuously improve how technology is designed and delivered.\nAbout SiXworks\nSiXworks is a specialist digital innovation partner delivering secure, mission-critical technology to Defence and National Security organisations.
