This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a technically demanding environment and enjoys coordinating logistics and infrastructure in a complex industrial setting.\nLocation and Working Pattern\nSomerset - nuclear new build project\nRotational schedule: 10 days on site, 4 days off\nClient Overview\nOur client is a leading international engineering and construction company, delivering large-scale electromechanical projects within the nuclear and energy sectors. They are recognised for their expertise in managing complex infrastructure installations and providing innovative, compliant solutions for high security environments.\nResponsibilities\nPlan and oversee the mobilisation and setup of temporary infrastructure, including offices, workshops and storage areas.\nManage site utility connections such as electricity, water, telecoms and drainage from client-provided access points.\nServe as the main point of contact for shared client facilities including canteen and welfare areas.\nCoordinate subcontractors during construction phases, ensuring safe and efficient site logistics.\nOversee maintenance, cleaning, and general services across all temporary facilities.\nEnsure full compliance with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) standards and site security rules.\nIdentify and implement process improvements to optimise resource use and reduce operational costs.\nMust-have Requirements\nDegree or higher-level qualification in Facility Management, Civil/Electromechanical Engineering or a related discipline.\n5-8 years’ experience managing site services or facilities on large industrial projects (nuclear, petrochemical, or major infrastructure).\nStrong technical understanding of site layout planning, utility network management and subcontractor coordination.\nProven ability to manage site resources, logistics and maintenance in a high compliance environment.\nExcellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders.\nEligible for UK security clearance and must hold valid Right to Work in the UK.\nDue to the nature of this role being on a national security facility, we can only accommodate applications from those who hold valid Right to Work in the UK.\nNice-to-have Skills\nKnowledge of IT and network systems (local networks, Wi Fi deployment, audiovisual systems).\nExperience improving operational efficiency and cost control in large project environments.\nRota - Normal 10/4 10 hour days\nRange £90-£100k\nFor this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
