essential.\nGood working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and relevant construction industry standards.\nUnderstanding of incident reporting, accident investigation and corrective action processes.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.\nA proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach to health and safety.\nGood organisational, IT and administrative skills.\nAbility to work independently while contributing effectively to the wider project team.\nDesirable Qualifications:\nThe following qualifications and experience would be advantageous:\nMembership of IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health).\nUnderstanding of scaffolding operations and associated risks, including working at height, lifting operations and temporary works.\nFamiliarity with the safety standards, procedures and documentation requirements associated with major construction projects.\nAdditional relevant health and safety training or qualifications.\nRequired:\nMinimum 3 years' site-based experience within construction, industrial services, scaffolding or major infrastructure projects.\nPrevious experience working in a similar Health & Safety Advisor role.\nExperience conducting workplace inspections, safety audits and behavioural safety observations.\nExperience reviewing and supporting the implementation of RAMS and safe systems of work.\nDesired:\nPrevious experience working at Hinkley Point C.\nExperience working on major infrastructure, energy or nuclear construction projects.\nExperience within the scaffolding or access industry.\nExperience supporting behavioural safety programmes and workforce engagement initiatives.\nFor this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
