This position is based full time on site Monday to Friday 40 hours a week\nMain Duties:\nWork within a cross-functional integrated team (Supply chain management, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, HSE and others as required) to purchase all goods and services required to deliver the HPC Project in Somerset a success.\nComplete Tender Life Cycle - work with project delivery team to define business requirements, contracts formation, engage supply chain and tender stakeholders\nNegotiations (define negotiation strategy and drive negotiation results).\nContract, together with legal team.\nManage relationship with suppliers to ensure timely accurate delivery of the goods and services for the project\nManage Priority Delivery Sequence - ability to balance requirements.\nAct as single point of contact for procurement activities\nLead all procurement engagements and meetings in sufficient time to achieve programme objectives\nEstablish overall procurement strategy and strategies for procuring individual packages\nEstablish understanding of risks inherent to procurement packages and advise appropriate contract models\nEstablish clear budget alignment to procurement packages\nEnsure tendering process is compliant with statutory and business requirements\nEnsure tendering communications are undertaken with traceability and clear configuration control\nEngage client to ensure Subcontract and vendor approval.\nAny other reasonable activities as requested by the line manager\nRequirements:\nProven track record in a project role\nKnowledge of procurement systems\nKnowledge of forms of contract - NEC Suite beneficial\nKnowledge of plant, equipment management and purchasing\nSenior Client engagement\nChange management & continuous improvement\nPeople management skills\nQualifications demonstrating high level of literacy and numeracy\nMembership of CIPS\nCCNSG or CSCS MAPS\nFor this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
