The role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, supervises technical teams and contractors, manages engineering projects and asset enhancement initiatives, and ensures compliance with statutory requirements, safety regulations, SLAs, and client expectations to support efficient and reliable facility operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlan, coordinate, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of Mechanical, Plumbing & Sanitary (P&S), Fire Protection, and Public Address (PA) systems to ensure operational reliability.\n\nSupervise Technical Officers, Technicians, contractors, and vendors, ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with SLA/KPI requirements.\n\nManage rectification, breakdown, Asset Enhancement Initiatives (AEI), Addition & Alteration (A&A), and Repair & Redecoration (R&R) projects, including reviewing engineering drawings and coordinating project execution.\n\nMonitor maintenance performance using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), analyze equipment trends, and maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.\n\nLiaise with clients, consultants, contractors, government authorities, and internal stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities, engineering initiatives, and project delivery.\n\nEnsure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), fire safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies while supporting energy conservation and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nPrepare quotations for maintenance and minor works, provide technical recommendations, support daily engineering operations, and perform the duties of the Mechanical & Fire Engineer during periods of absence.\n\nRequirements\nDiploma or Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related engineering discipline.\n\nMinimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or M&E operations.\n\nHands-on experience in Mechanical, Plumbing & Sanitary (P&S), Fire Protection, and Public Address (PA) systems.\n\nGood knowledge of Singapore fire safety regulations, statutory compliance, and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements.\n\nExperience managing contractors, vendors, and maintenance service providers, with strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.\n\nProficient in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office applications.\n\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently.
