We provide IFM services, including mechanical and electrical system management, and we are involved in creating sustainable built environments.\nOur exclusive client based in Paya Lebar is seeking a Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Engineer to assist the Building Manager in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all M&E systems within the building.\nYou will support M&E related projects from planning and technical evaluation to execution, while managing contractor performance, quotations, reporting, and ensuring timely resolution of defects and operational issues.\nKey responsibilities:\nAssists Building Manager to ensure smooth operations and any other assigned tasks.\n\nServes as the first point of contact for all M&E matters in the building.\n\nOversees all hard services (M&E) as specified in the contract\n\nMonitor and optimise energy consumptions to reduce costs and carbon footprint, aligning with GreenGov 2030 annual targets.\n\nImplement energy-saving solutions like smart building technologies and renewal energy integration.\n\nPlan, supervise the installation, refurbishment, or replacement of M&E systems or other ongoing projects.\n\nProvide expertise on system performance, enhance preventative maintenance, enable informed decision making, improve service response time, support long-term asset resilience and sustainability, provide lifecycle management, and uphold operational best practices.\n\nProvide accurate condition assessments, timely technical advice, and close coordination with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to maintain operational reliability.\n\nSupport M&E related projects through assisting in technical evaluation, planning, coordination, and on-site oversight, ensuring successful execution with minimal disruption.\n\nSolve technical issues.\n\nFollow up with the monthly report submission for hard services related work.\n\nFollow up with quotation on the repair work for any M&E related defects.\n\nKey requirements:\nIdeally, Diploma holder in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent with about 10-15 years of relevant experience.\n\nHowever, NITEC holder with more years of relevant Engineering expertise will be considered.\n\nM&E Degree holders with at least 5 years of relevant work experience may also apply.\n\nAt Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
