The candidate will be responsible for the design, engineering, coordination, and delivery of Plumbing, Public Health Engineering (PHE), and Fire Fighting systems for a variety of building projects, including commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, and infrastructure developments.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and engineering of PHE, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems for building projects.\nPrepare design calculations, technical reports, specifications, and engineering drawings.\nDevelop system layouts, schematic diagrams, and detailed design documentation.\nDesign water supply, drainage, stormwater, sewage, and rainwater harvesting systems.\nDesign fire protection systems, including fire hydrant, sprinkler, hose reel, fire water storage, and pumping systems.\nCarry out hydraulic calculations and sizing of pipes, pumps, tanks, and associated equipment.\nCoordinate PHE and Fire Fighting designs with Architecture, Structural, Electrical, HVAC, and other MEP disciplines.\nReview and coordinate BIM/Revit models and CAD drawings to ensure design integration and clash-free deliverables.\nEnsure designs comply with applicable Indian and international codes, standards, and local authority requirements.\nSupport project teams in preparing tender documentation, BOQs, specifications, and technical submissions.\nReview drawings and technical submissions from junior engineers and BIM/modeling teams.\nParticipate in design coordination meetings with internal teams, clients, consultants, and contractors.\nProvide technical support during project execution and resolve design-related issues.\nEnsure project deliverables are completed within agreed quality, budget, and schedule requirements.\nRequired Qualifications & Skills\nBachelor's degree in mechanical / civil engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.\n5-10 years of relevant experience in PHE, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting design and engineering.\nStrong knowledge of building services design and MEP coordination.\nHands-on experience with AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM is preferred.\nGood understanding of relevant NBC, IS Codes, NFPA, and other applicable international standards.\nExperience in design software and engineering calculation tools will be an advantage.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.\nExperience in handling large-scale and complex building projects will be preferred.\nPreferred Project Experience\nExperience in PHE and Fire Fighting design for one or more of the following:\nCommercial Buildings\nResidential Developments\nIT / Office Campuses\nHotels & Hospitality\nHospitals & Healthcare Facilities\nAirports\nMixed-Use Developments\nHigh-Rise Buildings\nInfrastructure Projects\nKey Competencies\nPHE & Plumbing System Design\nFire Fighting System Design\nHydraulic Calculations\nDesign Coordination\nMEP / BIM Coordination\nTechnical Documentation\nKnowledge of Codes & Standards\nClient & Stakeholder Coordination\nTeam Collaboration\nProject Delivery\nAt Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
