We have access to global network of design and engineering expertise, with 16,000 colleagues across 10 multi-disciplinary brands including architects, designers, planners, engineers and other specialists.\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to support the planning, design, and implementation of major highway, bridge and road infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting traffic studies, forecasting traffic demand, evaluating transportation networks, developing traffic management strategies, and ensuring efficient and safe movement of people and goods.\nResponsibilities\nProvide traffic engineering input during feasibility studies, preliminary design, and detailed engineering design.\n\nSupport the development of road signage, pavement markings, and wayfinding systems\n\nPrepare traffic demand forecasts using established transport planning methodologies.\n\nDevelop future-year traffic projections considering population growth, economic development, and land-use changes.\n\nCoordinate with project stakeholders\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in civil engineering or Transportation Engineering\n\nminimum 5 years’ experience in traffic growth analysis, modeling, and intelligent transportation systems, preferably for projects funded by MDBs\n\nMale or female\n\nGood communication in English Language\n\nPreferred Skills\nTraffic Engineering Analysis\n\nTraffic Flow Theory\n\nTraffic Forecasting\n\nTraffic Safety Analysis\n\nPublic Transport Planning\n\nCommunication and teamwork\n\nAt Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
