As we continue to expand our market presence and push the boundaries of what's possible in semiconductor technology, we invite you to be part of our journey to creating the next generation of memory solutions that will define the future of computing.\nAbout the Role:\nCreate comprehensive firmware verification plans covering NVMe standards, enterprise SSD protocols, and customer specifications (e.g., SMART, Trim, Get Log Page, OCP).\nDesign and deploy white-box, grey-box, and black-box automation tests using Python to validate security protocols and firmware functionality on a module-by-module basis.\nExecute and own end-to-end testing across diverse platforms, including simulation, FPGA prototyping, and prototype SSD hardware.\nUtilize deep SSD domain expertise to analyze weekly regression failures, root-cause complex firmware bugs, and drive issue resolution.\nPartner closely with firmware development teams during code reviews to improve software architecture, expand test coverage, and elevate overall code quality.\nOwn test reporting and articulately communicate technical challenges, solutions, and mitigation plans to both engineering teams and management.\nEducation / Experience:\nBachelors in Electrical Engineering, Digital Sciences, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.\nPosition requires experience in:\nSSD firmware testing and/or development.\nSSD or NAND Flash development industry.\nCode development using Python, C/C++, and Javascript.\nStorage industry protocols including NVMe, ONFI, and TCG Opal.\nAgile development, GIT development flow, Branch management and tools.\nTest automation, testing methodologies and test tools.\nAutomated build, continuous integration, and test automation systems.\nCOMPENSATION: $110,000-$160,000\nREGARDING COMPENSATION:\nSK hynix memory solutions America Inc. offers you the opportunity to apply your skills to exciting projects while working with innovative teams.
