From civil works to water treatment facilities, this programme strengthens environmental protection across the East of England - safeguarding water resources for generations to come.\nWe are currently looking for an Assistant Logistics Manager who will develop compliant, safe and sustainable solutions for potable water and wastewater projects, supporting design from feasibility to detailed design in a collaborative Design and Build environment.\nAs the Assistant Logistics Manager, you will:\nLead a team to coordinate project activities across all areas, ensuring high standards of safety, effective planning, smooth execution and regular performance review.\nTake responsibility for lifting operations, with high-level Appointed Person capability and a strong focus on safe and compliant delivery.\nWork collaboratively with other Assistant Managers, reporting to the Logistics Manager, to support logistics operations and the effective management of welfare compounds and site facilities across multiple projects.\nCarry out regular visits to multiple sites each week to monitor operations, maintain standards and support delivery teams.\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with project teams, stakeholders and supply chain partners to enable efficient and collaborative delivery.\nWe are looking for:\nHold, or be working towards, Lifting Appointed Person competence, ideally with A62 and A40 qualifications.\nBe able to plan, prioritise and deliver multiple projects while adapting to changing demands.\nHave good knowledge of plant, equipment, delivery vehicles and ground preparation requirements.\nBe confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook, and able to work remotely when needed.\nBring strong health and safety awareness, a full driving licence, and a proactive approach to innovation.\nWhat we offer:\n* 24/7 digital GP service for you and your family\n* Financial wellbeing and employee assistance\n* Professional development\n* Enhanced family benefits (including maternity, paternity, dependants and parental bereavement leave)\nInclusion and Diversity\nWe thrive through embracing differences as we know that diversity opens a rich potential for new ways of thinking, helping us to build successful and high-performing teams.
