One of our flagship contracts is with the Ministry of Defence at a major base near Watford - a complex, high-profile environment where we provide a full range of hard, soft, and technical FM services.\nWe now have a great opportunity to join the hard services team for a Deputy Maintenance Manager, reporting into the Operations Manager and responsible for the effective co-ordination and deployment of the rotating 24/7 Shift teams.\nAs Deputy Maintenance Manager - You’ll:\nAct as a focal point for all day-to-day activities of the Shift Teams including liaison with Client representatives to ensure planned and reactive tasks are completed on time\nEnsure each shift carries out planned maintenance, statutory compliance tasks and reactive works investigations/repairs on NCC complex infrastructure and fabric as assigned including reassignment to other shifts as required\nCarry out Authorised Persons and/or Competent Person duties as required for the engineering services on site, including preparation of installations for others.\nCo-ordinate and plan maintenance activities in support of Maintenance Manager, Client, End Users and other technical departments\nProvide technical advice and support to shift teams and 3rd party contractors working in the NCC complex\nEffectively manage sub-contractors ensuring work is carried out in line with the company procedures and statutory legislation\nWe are looking:\nPrevious experience in a similar role maintenance manager/lead role\nExperience of both open and closed protocol BMS systems\nExcellent team working and problem-solving capabilities\nAbility to manage a number of services simultaneously in accordance with the Northwood SLA’s and client expectations\nMust be capable of fully satisfying the Client security clearance minimum requirements\nKnowledge of Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) Systems\n12 direct reports (4 x shift supervisors and 8 x shift technicians)\nWhat we offer:\n24/7 digital GP service for you and your family \nFinancial wellbeing and employee assistance \nProfessional development \nEnhanced family benefits (including maternity, paternity,dependants and parental bereavement leave) \nInclusion and Diversity\nWe thrive through embracing differences as we know that diversity opens a rich potential for new ways of thinking, helping us to build successful and high-performing teams.
