You will be working in the Building Services Operating Unit, in the Commercial Property Maintenance (CPM) department, delivering nationwide facilities management, including M&E support, cleaning, catering, and grounds maintenance, using technology for efficient planned and reactive services.
We are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer, based at the K1 Knightsbridge building in central London.
As the Multi Skilled Engineer, you will:
- Deliver day-to-day servicing of Mechanical and Electrical infrastructure, including breakdown response and maintenance of systems and equipment.
- Undertake planned preventative maintenance and reactive repair works across all associated Mechanical and Electrical assets.
- Operate, inspect and monitor plant and equipment to ensure safe, reliable and efficient performance in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
- Produce technical incident reports and supporting documentation as required, in line with management direction.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service histories and plant asset registers.
- Promote and uphold Health and Safety compliance at all times, while supporting team training where appropriate.
- Assist with the day-to-day monitoring and supervision of operations when required.
We are looking for:
- Recognised technical qualification, such as City & Guilds Level 2, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in an engineering role within a service/commercial property maintenance environment.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Sound knowledge of control systems.
- Sound knowledge of HVAC systems.
- IEE 17th or 18th Edition qualified.
- IOSH Working Safely certified, or willing to work towards this.
- LV/AP Electrical experience or authorisation would be beneficial.
