As one of the world’s largest construction and development companies, we work together with customers, communities and partners to shape a better society.\nYou will be working in the HS2 Main Works, the SCS Joint Venture with Costain and Strabag, our HS2 Main Works South team is delivering one of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure projects - 26 miles of tunnels from London Euston to West Ruislip, along with viaducts, bridges and embankments that will connect communities for generations.\nWe are currently looking for a Quality Inspector who will:\nAs the Quality Inspector, you will:\nBe proactive in preventing substandard Works being produced by coaching and providing training\nTo be the arbiter between all parties on any quality related issues, preventing them being raise directly to the Project Director where possible without compromising quality\nEnsure that quality management is given the highest priority in delivery in the delivery of their works to achieve right first time\nCommunicate with delivery team and sub-contractors to ensure full understanding of quality assurance requirements\nCheck the works during progress and on completion to ensure that it has been constructed in line with the Work Information\nCommunicate to the Quality Managers and Quality Engineers any non-conformances\nEnsure that inspection and tests are carried out in line with the inspection and test plans, Safe System of Work for the controlling the works and that all necessary documentation is produced in a timely manner\nAssist the Quality Engineers in carrying out site surveillances\nWe are looking for:\nExperience within quality related role on a major infrastructure project\nExperience of working on Civil engineering projects\nComputer competence (MS Word, Excel)\nRelevant CSCS Card\nOn-site training in Quality\nKnowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems\nWhat we offer:\n24/7 digital GP service for you and your family\nFinancial wellbeing and employee assistance\nProfessional development\nEnhanced family benefits (including maternity, paternity, dependants and parental bereavement leave)\nInclusion and Diversity\nWe thrive through embracing differences as we know that diversity opens a rich potential for new ways of thinking, helping us to build successful and high-performing teams.
