You will develop robust, buildable and sustainable design solutions while providing technical leadership across the project lifecycle. As part of Skanska, you’ll also have the opportunity to support construction teams, influence buildability decisions and see your designs realised on major infrastructure developments, while delivering standalone consultancy commissions for a diverse client base.\nAs the Senior Engineer you will:\nDevelop and manage detailed drainage, SuDS and below-ground infrastructure designs for buildings, highways and public realms.Lead work packages - programming, costing, proposals and delivery - while ensuring technical assurance of designs, drawings and reports.\n\nProvide standalone consultancy services, collaborating with clients and stakeholders to achieve technical, environmental and planning goals.\nEmbed Health & Safety, Environmental and CDM Designer duties into projects, promoting safe, sustainable design practices.\nMentor and support junior staff, and advance digital engineering workflows\nWe are looking for:\nDegree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and Chartered (ICE) or actively working towards chartership.\nProven drainage design experience (SuDS, attenuation, flow control, modelling, hydraulics and guidance compliance).\nInfrastructure design experience (site-wide drainage, earthworks interfaces, public realm and related civil works).\nExperience preparing SuDS strategies, planning submissions and drainage approvals (S104, S38, S106 and local/water-company processes). \nProficient with InfoDrainage, Civil 3D and BIM workflows, with strong communication skills.\nWhat we offer:\n24/7 digital GP service for you and your family \nFinancial wellbeing and employee assistance \nProfessional development \nEnhanced family benefits (including maternity, paternity, dependents and parental bereavement leave)\nInclusion and Diversity\nWe thrive through embracing differences as we know that diversity opens a rich potential for new ways of thinking, helping us to build successful and high-performing teams.
