Two new free-flowing slip roads will ease congestion and improve connections between the A47.\nWe are currently looking for a Senior Planning Engineer who will develop, maintain and update the project programme to produce an accurate plan that manages time risk and that the project team and customer can trust.\nAs the Senior Planning Engineer, you will:\nDevelop and update the main project contract programme, ensuring it is of a high quality so that the programme suits the Project’s, Skanska’s and the Client’s needs.\nMeasure actual progress against short and long-term plans via value adding production control tools to provide a holistic view of project performance outputting high-quality reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to project leadership.\nFocusing the project team’s delivery against key project milestones by explaining the key drivers and follow-on dependencies to ensure delivery to plan.\nLead the medium-term planning sessions alongside the delivery team to align with the main contract programme.\nConstructively challenges short-term programmes developed by the project team ensuring they are practicable and align with the main contract programme. \nWe are looking for:\nExperience in the civils industry, ideally having worked on an RDP framework project in the Highways industry in a planning role.\nExperience of various methods of planning, programming, and progress monitoring ideally working for a Tier 1 construction contractor.\nConstruction experience and technical understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques and best practices. \nUnderstanding of various forms of construction documents, contracts and specifications.\nWhat we offer:\n24/7 digital GP service for you and your family \nFinancial wellbeing and employee assistance \nProfessional development \nEnhanced family benefits (including maternity, paternity, dependants and parental bereavement leave) \nInclusion and Diversity\nWe thrive through embracing differences as we know that diversity opens a rich potential for new ways of thinking, helping us to build successful and high-performing teams.
