This direct motorway connection will reduce congestion and strengthen regional connectivity.\nWe are currently looking for a Senior Procurement Manager who will lead the procurement team to procure and manage agreements and subcontract packages, delivering best value solutions, and providing our Operating Unit and projects with a compliant, sustainable supply chain.\n\nAs the Senior Procurement Manager, you will:\nLine management and development of procurement teams who undertake package procurement / category sourcing and/or category management activity.\nStrategic planning, co-ordination and reporting on scheme procurement management.\nProcurement and management of a portfolio of packages/categories across multiple areas of spend to optimise value to the business through strategic supplier selection and supplier relationship management.\nDevelopment and on-going management of internal stakeholder relationships at all levels to identify and deliver procurement activity to support the UK Business Plan.\nDevelopment and scrutiny of procurement strategies to clearly demonstrate and seek approval from stakeholders on how a product / service will be strategically procured.\nUndertake request for proposals (RFP) applying a balanced scorecard approach to select suppliers based upon criteria which is relevant to client’s and business objectives.\nDraft, negotiate and execute robust framework agreements / contracts incorporating relevant Skanska policies, to reflect the deal, and protect the business from risk, scrutinising agreements drafting by the team.\n\nWe are looking for:\nStrong team leadership and line management to ensure team members develop, achieve their goals and deliver successful outcomes, providing a clear succession plan.\nExcellent analytical skills to drive the right decisions and outcomes.\nPractical mindset towards innovation in procurement.\nConfident and professional approach to stakeholder engagement, holding them to account when necessary to uphold legislative compliance and adherence to procurement policy.\nExtensive knowledge of relevant forms of contract.\nExtensive supply chain marketplace knowledge.\nMCIPS qualified or industry equivalent.\nWhat we offer:\n* 24/7 digital GP service for you and your family\n* Financial wellbeing and employee assistance\n* Professional development\n* Enhanced family benefits (including maternity, paternity,dependants and parental bereavement leave)\nInclusion and Diversity\nWe thrive through embracing differences as we know that diversity opens a rich potential for new ways of thinking, helping us to build successful and high-performing teams.
