Through collaboration and innovation, we deliver high-quality solutions that make a lasting, positive impact for people and communities.\nWe are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager who will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of programs of work including lifecycle and contract variation and capital works within the Bristol Schools framework PFI.\n\nAs the Senior Project Manager, you will:\nFoster and develop excellent working relations with the diverse client and end user base providing confidence and assurance of Skanska Building Services ability and capability to successfully deliver projects\nProvide leadership, development and guidance to the existing PM resource and ensure best practice and conformance with legislation is achieved.\nManage Life Cycle, Capital Project work including design management, temporary works, estimating, arrange for the ordering of materials and plant, resource planning and implementation of direct labour or contract labour.\nLead on project delivery, and to hold and facilitate, as necessary, requirement, design review, prestart, progress and handover meetings.\nWorking with the Contract and Commercial team to ensure all quotations are completed and returned within the Project related KPI and Performance Management System time scales.\nDevelop and pre-plan all works with relevant stakeholders and liaison with all relevant parties including but not limited to General Manager, Operations Manager, Clients, Trade contractors, Consultants and other third parties including internal departments, to agree final project arrangements for the works. Ensure planned works do not compromise day to day operations (unless alternative arrangements agreed and in place) and that works are delivered in an efficient and cost-effective manner.\nWe are looking for:\nRecognised Qualification in Building Services or Construction/Project Management.\nH&S qualification e.g. minimum 4-day IOSH, SMSTS or Construction Certificate.\nMust achieve Enhanced DBS.\nConfident communicator at varying levels.\nThe Senior Project Manager must be able to demonstrate 10 years’ experience in project or construction management in an FM environment.\nExperience in managing the delivery of large and complex programs of work in an FM environment.\nDemonstrable experience in delivering programs of work in line with the requirements of CDM 2015 and experience in fulfilling the duties of Principal Designer and Principal Contractor on single and multi-discipline projects.\nPFI Contracting experience is essential and value Engineering experience.\nWhat we offer:\n24/7 digital GP service for you and your family \nFinancial wellbeing and employee assistance \nProfessional development \nEnhanced family benefits (including maternity, paternity,dependants and parental bereavement leave) \nInclusion and Diversity\nWe thrive through embracing differences as we know that diversity opens a rich potential for new ways of thinking, helping us to build successful and high-performing teams.
