We're seeking a skilled professional to join our IT team and support our testing initiatives across various retail technologies.What You'll Do\nDesign, review requirements , develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Retail Merchandising (O9) and related retail applications\nCreate, maintain, and upgrade test plans, test scripts as well as analyze test cases and provides regular progress reports. \nPerform all testing activities including functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of Retail Point-of-Sale (POS) system/other IT systems for our global locations. \nUpdate and maintain the automation for new features on POS or other Retail Systems. Review Automation results and log/follow up on defects.\nTest integrations between POS systems and retail planning tools (e.g., demand forecasting, open-to-buy, financial planning).\nValidate accuracy of data flows between POS and planning modules including sales actuals, inventory positions, and sell-through reporting.\nCollaborate with the Retail Planning team to validate KPI calculations and reporting metrics at the POS level.\nValidate allocation logic and rules engine within POS-connected systems to ensure correct inventory distribution across stores.\nTest automated replenishment triggers based on POS sales data and stock threshold parameters.\nIdentify, isolate, regress and communicate bugs effectively and efficiently. \nLog defects in a detailed, understandable, and reproducible way. \nTrack all assigned defects through closure. \nGenerate and publish daily defect reports from Test/Defect Management Tool. \nWork with the team in an Agile/Scrum environment. \nActively participate in Scrum meetings and provide QA estimate to calculate Story Points during planning phase. \nPublish daily status reports or help update existing reports. \nEnsure that all regression and daily testing activities required by the Retail POS team are completed in a timely fashion. \nTrack testing metrics like test coverage, defect densities and open defect counts. \nThis position is not remote and will require a regular commute to the office. Some amount of remote work will be approved on a case-to-case basis.\nWhat You'll Bring\n4-5 years’ experience in manual and automated testing.\n3-5 years of QA/testing experience, with at least 2 years focused on Retail POS systems.\nHands-on experience with one or more Retail POS platforms (e.g., Oracle Retail XSTORE, Aptos,).\nWorking knowledge of Retail Planning tools (O9)\nExperience in Web, API, mobile testing. \nKnowledge of MySQL/SQL/Postgres or any other DDL (Data Definition Language) \nExperience liaising with groups of people across several geographies. \nExperience with JIRA, Service Now, Zephyr or other ticketing platforms \nExperience in deriving the test estimates, test planning, scheduling, and reporting, \nExcellent communication and time management skills \nDetail oriented tester with creative problem-solving skills who can often work independently with little supervision and as part of a team. \nExperience in integration testing with 3rd party and in-house applications. \nBachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent. \nExperience working with clients during User acceptance Testing is a nice to have. \nPrior experience in testing Retail Point-of-Sale(POS) testing ideally with APTOS (Store6 & Aptos ONE) or Oracle Xstore, MA SIM or other similar products is a plus.\nPay range for this position is $128,000/year USD.\nAbout Skechers\nSkechers, a global Fortune 500® company, develops and markets a diverse range of lifestyle and performance footwear, apparel, and accessories.
