This position interfaces with all department Team Leaders, workers, and upper management.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nOrder Management & Wave Planning\nBuild, release, and optimize daily waves in accordance with established processes, routing requirements, priorities, VAS needs, and operational constraints. \nAnalyze order volume, order types, priorities, processing requirements, and operational capacity to ensure efficient workload flow and timely processing. \nManage primary and specialized waves, including Dedicated, Distributors, POP, Apparel, and Online Orders. \nMonitor workload throughout the day and adjust wave plans based on changing volumes, priorities, and operational conditions. \nPrepare and communicate ticketing reports, wave recaps, and other reports required for workload planning and final work release. \nIdentify and coordinate resolution of order-flow issues, exceptions, shortages, and workflow disruptions with Operations, Allocations, Inventory, Logistics, and Management. \nPartner with Corporate and DC Management to implement changes to wave-planning processes, priorities, and business requirements.\nOrder Analysis, Forecasting & Workload Planning\nAnalyze historical and current order data, volume trends, order mix, seasonality, and workload patterns to develop and maintain accurate forecasts. \nCollaborate with business partners to develop, validate, and refine order and workload forecasts. \nTranslate forecasted demand into actionable workload, operational capacity, and resource requirements. \nMonitor actual volumes and workload against forecasts, identify variances and emerging trends, and communicate significant changes and potential operational impacts. \nProvide short- and long-term workload analysis to support proactive operational planning and capacity management. \nWorkforce & Labor Planning\nTranslate workload forecasts and operational requirements into staffing needs by team, process, and operational area. \nPartner with Supervisors and Operations to plan daily labor allocation and align staffing with volume, priorities, and business requirements. \nMaintain, develop, and improve labor-planning and staffing tools to ensure accurate and effective workforce utilization. \nAnalyze staffing capacity versus workload requirements to identify gaps, constraints, and opportunities for improved labor utilization and workflow balancing. \nMonitor actual workload and staffing performance against plans and adjust personnel requirements as conditions change. \nProvide management with data-driven analysis and recommendations related to staffing, productivity, workload, and resource requirements. \nReporting, Analysis & Continuous Improvement\nProduce and maintain daily, weekly, and ad-hoc reports covering order volume, waves, workload, staffing, forecasting, and operational requirements. \nAnalyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, exceptions, capacity constraints, and improvement opportunities. \nMaintain accurate historical and planning data to support forecasting and operational decision-making. \nContinuously evaluate and improve planning processes, tools, reports, and methodologies in response to changing systems, processes, technology, and business requirements. \nPresent workload, forecasting, wave-planning, staffing, and operational information to Management and provide timely communication regarding risks, exceptions, and resource requirements.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with DC Operations, Allocations, Inventory, Logistics, Corporate Management, and other business units to align demand, capacity, workload, and labor resources. \nCommunicate effectively across departments to investigate and resolve order, inventory, staffing, and operational issues. \nEvaluate the operational impact of business and process changes and develop appropriate workload, capacity, and staffing plans. \nMaintain strong cross-functional relationships to support effective execution and continuous improvement. \nJob Requirements -\nOnsite at the Distribution Centre\nDemonstrable experience in WMS, database query management (AS400 is preferred).\nSystem knowledge of Ortec, Commander, PKMS, would be an advantage.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, forecasting, and data-interpretation skills. \nKnowledge of warehouse operations, order flow, wave planning, picking processes, labor planning, and workforce requirements. \nAbility to translate data and forecasts into actionable operational and staffing plans. \nStrong organization, prioritization, attention to detail, and time-management skills. \nEffective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. \nAbility to work independently and adapt effectively in a fast-paced, changing operational environment. \nContinuous-improvement mindset with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and resource optimization. \nExperience working in a Distribution Centre would be an asset \nEducation and Experience-\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred\n2+ year(s) experience in Warehousing, Processing; Production planning, Wave Building or
