In this role, the Learning and Development Specialist plays a vital part in shaping meaningful employee experiences across a range of learning programs and initiatives - helping employees feel supported, prepared, and empowered to grow at every stage of their journey.\nCentral to this work is a commitment to delivering branded learning experiences that authentically reflect and celebrate Skechers culture, reinforcing who we are as a company at every touchpoint of the employee experience.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nProgram Management & Delivery\nOwn and manage the end-to-end execution of assigned learning programs and initiatives, from planning and development through delivery and evaluation.\nFacilitate dynamic learning experiences for diverse audiences across virtual and in-person environments that drive engagement, participation, and practical application of knowledge.\nCoordinate training calendars, logistics, set-up, communications, and program materials to ensure smooth delivery of learning experiences.\nPartner with relevant stakeholders to ensure assigned programs remain current, relevant, and aligned with evolving business needs.\nIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation within assigned programs and across the broader L&D portfolio.\nBalance multiple learning projects and timelines simultaneously while ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality learning experiences and materials.\nLearning Content & Design\nCollaborate with the Learning & Development team and key stakeholders, including HR and business partners across Skechers' global teams, to identify learning and development needs and requirements.\nEnsure learning programs and content are aligned with organizational goals and career development paths while maintaining consistency, accuracy, and relevance across all learning experiences.\nDevelop and maintain engaging learning materials including facilitator guides, presentations, participant workbooks, job aids, e-learning modules, and multimedia content using tools such as Articulate Rise, Canva, and other content authoring tools.\nLeverage learning technologies and innovative learning strategies to enhance learner engagement and effectiveness across diverse audiences.\nEvaluate learning effectiveness through participation metrics, learner feedback, knowledge retention, and business impact measures to support continuous improvement.\nStay current on industry trends, instructional design practices, and learning technologies.\nSupport the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning platforms, ensuring all learning content is organized, accessible, and user-friendly for employees while upholding Skechers L&D LMS Standards to ensure global consistency.\nProgram Facilitation & Delivery\nFacilitate engaging and impactful learning sessions for varied audiences in both virtual and in-person settings, fostering an inclusive and energizing learning environment.\nAdapt facilitation style and approach to meet the needs of diverse learner groups, experience levels, and delivery formats.\nEnsure all facilitated experiences are on-brand, up-to-date, and incorporate approved regional and organizational information.\nTeam Collaboration & Support\nConnect and collaborate with global L&D partners to ensure identified learning experiences are globally consistent and to discover regional best practices.\nConsult with HR and business partners to align learning solutions with organizational priorities and business objectives.\nSupport organizational development initiatives including employee engagement, performance management, leadership development, and change management efforts as needed.\nWHAT YOU'LL BRING\nA collaborative team member who actively contributes to shared goals, supports their colleagues, and fosters a positive, high-performing team environment\nA proactive and solutions-oriented professional\nA natural relationship-builder who connects easily with people at every level\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nDemonstrates agility and resilience in response to changing priorities, timelines, and organizational needs\nA clear and compelling communicator who tailors their message effectively across written and verbal formats for diverse audiences and contexts.\n3+ years’ experience in Human Resources, Learning and Development, or Communication with an emphasis on written communication\nExperience with the Microsoft Office suite, Canva and Workday LMS preferred\nDegree in HR or Communication-focused degree or relevant experience preferred\nPay range for this position is $75,000- $80,000/year USD.\nAbout Skechers\nSkechers, a global Fortune 500® company, develops and markets a diverse range of lifestyle and performance footwear, apparel, and accessories.
