The candidate should be an experienced and motivated technologist who possesses a unique balance of technical depth, DevOps expertise, and strong interpersonal skills. The role requires excellent design skills, show commitment to automation, planning, integrity, and a pragmatic approach to drive the organization towards continual success.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO:\nPlatform Development & Engineering:\nLead and take ownership of all Salesforce programmatic requests and platform enhancements\nDevelop SOQL code, Apex classes and triggers and Custom User Interfaces leveraging Lightning Web Components (LWC) and JavaScript\nUse Salesforce APIs using REST, SOAP, GraphQL and platform events\nDesign and implement scalable solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud, and Marketing Cloud Next\nIntegration & Architecture:\nExperience integrating Salesforce with external systems using middleware such as Boomi, MuleSoft and Informatica\nExperience in cloud platforms such as AWS, ERP systems such as Oracle and the ability to integrate Salesforce with cloud and ERP systems\nResponsible for architectural documentation and reviewing the development of solutions specified in technical design\nCode Quality & Standards:\nImplement and maintain PMD rulesets and code quality standards across all Salesforce development\nEstablish code review processes and enforce coding standards\nConfigure automated code analysis and quality gates in CI/CD pipelines\nMonitor and optimize platform performance and scalability\nRelease Management & Support:\nTake ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code\nManage environment promotion strategies and deployment scheduling\nWork with the Production Support team to ensure fixes and enhancements are delivered in a timely fashion\nSupport the Salesforce Administrator as necessary with platform configuration and maintenance\nBusiness Collaboration:\nTranslate business process requirements into detailed technical specifications to meet business goals\nEnsure development activities are aligned with scope, schedule, priority, and business objectives\nInterface with both internal and external technical experts to implement solutions\nWHAT YOU'LL BRING:\nSalesforce Platform Expertise:\nStrong Salesforce Sales Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud, and Service Cloud product knowledge\nMarketing Cloud Next and Data Cloud product knowledge (fundamental concepts)\nAt least 5 years of Salesforce Apex development experience\nAdvanced Salesforce DX experience including scratch org management, source format, and CLI automation\nFamiliarity with Salesforce AI offerings such as Einstein and Agentforce\nDevOps & CI/CD Skills:\nExtensive experience with Git branching strategies (GitFlow, GitHub Flow, or similar)\nProven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps\nProven experience with Unlocked Packages and Package-based Development Model\nExpert-level scratch org creation and management including automated provisioning and data seeding\nExperience with automated deployment tools (SFDX, Salesforce CLI, ANT Migration Tool)\nInfrastructure as Code (IaC) experience for Salesforce environment management\nTechnical Skills:\nStrong command of building and scaling REST APIs\nStrong command of integration concepts as they relate to Retail business\nStrong command of enterprise architecture concepts and integration design patterns\nWeb Development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript\nExperience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and SQS\nWorking knowledge of Linux, Windows, SQL and NoSQL database systems, and networking\nDevelopment & Quality:\nAdvanced PMD ruleset configuration and code quality enforcement\nExperience with automated testing frameworks and test data management\nParticipate in all aspects of software development including design, implementation, deployment, and monitoring\nExperience with code reviews, proactive approach in dependency analysis and downstream impact analysis\nExperience with building and maintaining distributed microservices;
