Powering the infrastructure that powers everything else.\nResponsibilities\nManage inbound and outbound processes and deliveries, including customs processes and documentation, as well as support during customs investigations.\nCreate delivery documentation, book transports, and check that incoming documents are valid and correct.\nHandle tickets and internal customer requests on all logistics topics.\nMonitor logistics processes and KPIs across transportation, inbound, and outbound.\nSolve logistics and transportation issues quickly and pragmatically.\nRepresent Skeleton as Dangerous Goods Officer (road & sea) for all dangerous goods (DG) shipments.\nIdentify opportunities to optimize our transportation structure and costs, and put them into practice.\nBring import transport bookings in-house, including direct carrier contracts and rate negotiations.\nConsolidate freight forwarders across all Skeleton locations to increase economies of scale.\nSet up a reliable system for import tax (ATC) documentation.\nTake on other tasks as assigned and agreed with management.\nRequirements\nCompleted vocational training as a freight forwarding agent (Speditionskaufmann/-frau), a degree in logistics or international trade, or a comparable qualification.\nSeveral years of experience in import/export handling, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment.\nSolid knowledge of customs procedures, export controls, and Incoterms; experience with customs software such as ATLAS is a plus.\nA qualification as Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA / Gefahrgutbeauftragter) for road & sea is an advantage.
