Skeleton Technologies is looking for a motivated Quality Management System Engineer to join our team in Markranstädt.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and continuously improve the company Quality Management System in line with applicable standards such as ISO 9001 and relevant customer requirements.
- Create, review, update, and control quality procedures, work instructions, templates, forms, and process documentation.
- Support process owners in defining and documenting processes, responsibilities, KPIs, risks, and controls.
- Plan, coordinate, and support internal and external audits.
- Track audit findings, nonconformities, corrective actions, and improvement activities through to effective closure.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action processes.
- Ensure controlled document management, including revision status, approval, distribution, and traceability.
- Monitor QMS KPIs and prepare regular quality reports and management review inputs.
- Support training and awareness activities related to the QMS.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supplier Quality, Purchasing, Logistics, and other departments on quality-system topics.
- Support certification and surveillance audits and ensure the required documentation is ready.
- Identify gaps in the QMS and lead or support continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and practical experience with Quality Management Systems.
- Experience with document control, including procedures, work instructions, forms, templates, and revision management.
- Good understanding of internal and external audit processes and audit preparation.
- Good knowledge of quality tools and methods such as FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and problem-solving methods.
- Experience with quality-related standards and customer requirements; automotive knowledge such as IATF 16949 or VDA 6.3 is an advantage.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to analyze quality data and prepare KPIs, dashboards, and management reports.
- Very good English skills; German is an advantage.
