systems in partnership with engineering/IT.\nGuide the team in identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends and patterns in complex data sets, and translate these into strategic recommendations for leadership.\nDirect the development of regression and forecasting models using historical data to predict future portfolio performance, and validate model outputs before they inform business decisions.\nPartner directly with senior management and cross-functional leaders to prioritize business and information needs, and represent the analytics function in planning and strategy discussions.\nIdentify, propose, and lead process improvement initiatives, owning implementation and measuring impact.\nManage stakeholder relationships across departments, ensuring analytics work is aligned with broader business objectives.\nOwn budgeting, tooling decisions, and resourcing for the analytics function, where applicable.\n\nRequirements: \nBachelor's or master's degree in statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related quantitative field.\n7+ years of experience as a data analyst or business data analyst, including at least 2+ years in a team lead or people management capacity.\nProven track record of managing or mentoring a team of analysts, with strong people leadership and coaching skills.\nDeep technical expertise in data models, database design and development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.\nAdvanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Python, and hands-on experience with dashboarding tools such as Metabase, Tableau, or equivalent.\nStrong command of statistics and statistical packages for analysis and visualization (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Seaborn), with the ability to review and validate the technical work of others.\nDemonstrated experience developing regression and forecasting models to predict future portfolio performance, including in a review/oversight capacity.\nExperience in supervised and unsupervised model development and the judgment to guide a team through model selection and validation.\nExcellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear narratives and recommendations for senior stakeholders.\nStrong stakeholder management skills, with experience prioritizing competing business needs across departments.\nKnowledge of practices
