This position serves as a bridge between finance and operations, ensuring that cost optimization initiatives are aligned with business objectives and drive operational efficiency.\n\nProfile of the job holder/key requirements\nCA / CA- Inter / ICWA / CMA with 4 to 8 years of post-qualification experience.\nHands-on experience in Financial Planning and Global reporting \nStrong working experience on MS Office and good understanding of SAP ERP - FICO,Sound knowledge in Power BI.\n\nGood communication skills, verbal and written \nStrong collaboration with stakeholders across Cross Functional Teams \nAbility to independently handle / manage day-to-day tasks\nKey Responsibilities\nAn individual contributor role to manage day-to-day Controlling and Reporting Responsibilities of all Manufacturing activities in line with India and Corporate (SKF Group) requirements.\nControlling Responsibilities\nPartner with Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistic and Operations teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.\nOperating profit analysis for Manufacturing unit which includes material cost variance analysis, plus Fixed and variable cost analysis.\nPrimarily responsible for updating standard costs annually in the PC Tool; analyzing the deviations of standard costs, ensure proper evaluation, and timely reporting.\nAssess proposed capital investments by analyzing financial viability, ROI, payback period, and alignment with Business plan. Track expenditure against approved IRE.\nMonitor inventory to identify opportunities for optimization. Analyse slow-moving and obsolete inventories, discards / write-offs; monitor and analyse inventory count results.\nProvide clear insights into various cost drivers and continuously monitor to ensure overall cost is minimized. \nStrong expertise in SAP-ERP (FICO) Product Costing functionalities, including Cost Component Structure, Routing, Costing Variant configuration, Parallel Valuation, and Settlement Structure.\nCarry out cost-level analysis for the manufacturing unit to deliver a comprehensive overview of operations, including tracking actual cost developments at the operational level on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.\nActual vs Forecast Analysis showing comparison on month/quarter vs Forecast\nEnsure compliance with SKF financial policies, internal controls and audit plan for the year\nControlling Governance - Respond to queries from Group and other stakeholders and provide timely and accurate information \nCost Project Validation & Controls - Streamline activities and work on improvement projects in line with required KPIs \nAccounting And Reporting Responsibilities\nCosting Power BI Ownership - Support the LLS.
