Also provide technical assistance & solutions for smooth running of manufacturing processes.\nResponsibilities:\nCycle time improvement: Drive process improvements in identified manufacturing processes for cycle reduction, Develop and implement solutions to improve OEE and reduce operator fatigue.\nWork on New Product development on channel to ensure right process design and achieve product characteristics as per SKF specifications. Plan & execute industrialization for new bearing types.\nIntroduction of new Cutting tools and abrasives (Grinding,Turning & Honing) for output improvement & cost reduction.\nTakes part in PFMEA, Control plan and other channel documents for New Product Development and revision of existing products.\nWorks on technology improvement projects like vision cameras and advanced manufacturing techniques.\nDrive New Channel development & machine installation projects (Channel layouts, grinding/assembly, automation).\nLeads Machine Qualification by using Techniques like FAT and SAT.\nWorks on ECR for effective implementation of change management.\nRelease Process flow diagram, Set up chart, process validation report & Process Drawings for new product development. \nDevelop tooling requirements for grinding, honing, and assembly processes by applying SMED concepts.Ensure tooling performance during prove-out and ramp-up.\nMetrics:\nCycle time Improvement and Fixing deviation.\nNo. of New product Developed \nProductivity Improvementand OEE Improvement.\nInstallation of new machines & equipment.\nCompetencies:\nSound Knowledge of Turning, Hard Turning, Hard Machining, (Grinding & Honing will be added) Assembly process.\nKnowledge of CAD/CAM systems, geometric dimensioning and tolerance, Hand on experience on 3D modelling software E.g. Creo and 2D modelling software E.g. AutoCAD. \nGood Understanding of Process Flow diagrams, PFEA, Control Plan and MSA.\nMachine Qualification Technique, FAT and SAT.\nLearning Agility, problem solving mindset\nExposure to advanced manufacturing technique, digitization, robotics.
