This role works cross-functionally with production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and engineering teams to optimize manufacturing operations, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and workflows.\nAnalyze production methods and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower manufacturing costs.\nSupport new product launches by developing process documentation, work instructions, and production standards.\nLead continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other operational excellence methodologies.\nCollaborate with Quality Assurance to investigate and resolve process-related quality issues.\nConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).\nDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flow diagrams, and manufacturing documentation.\nMonitor production performance through data analysis and recommend process improvements.\nParticipate in equipment selection, installation, validation, and commissioning activities.\nEnsure manufacturing processes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.\nWork closely with maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.\nSupport capital expenditure projects and prepare cost-benefit analyses for proposed improvements.\nTrain production personnel on new processes, equipment, and best practices.\nMaintain accurate engineering records, process specifications, and documentation.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering field.\n3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, and industrial equipment.\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nProficiency with CAD software and manufacturing process design tools.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical data.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP systems.\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience with automation, robotics, CNC machining, or advanced manufacturing technologies.\nKnowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or other applicable quality management systems.\nExperience with statistical process control (SPC) and process validation.\nKey Competencies\nContinuous Improvement Mindset\nProcess Optimization\nRoot Cause Analysis\nProject Management\nQuality Focus\nProblem Solving\nTeamwork and Collaboration\nTechnical Expertise\nData Analysis\nSafety Awareness\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.\nFrequent walking, standing, and observation of production processes.\nAbility to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.\nUse of required personal protective equipment (PPE) when on the production floor.\nWe are looking for 2 Manufacturing Engineers.\nWhat You’ll Love About SKF:\nRest and Relaxation.
