This is a leadership position that requires excellent communication skills and a clear business and profit-oriented focus. Candidates will need to balance their efforts between servicing current business and developing new opportunities.\nResponsibilities:\nStrategically increase market share positions on key aircraft programs\nDevelop high level customer relationships across all levels of the customer organization\nDefine segment strategies for product, price and profit development\nManage contractual and commercial risks and coordinate cross functionally within the organization\nNegotiate profitable long-term customer contracts \nAssist in building and meeting annual business plan\nBuild and define quotes for new business\nManage a team of account managers and be the primary escalation point for the customers for expedite requests, chargebacks, supplier disputes and recovery plans\nCross functional leadership\nSupport Applications Engineering efforts (from multiple national and international facilities)\nUnderstand market trends and their impact to our business growth and profitability\nContribute to marketing activities, including events, monthly forecasting and process mapping\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering required. MBA a plus\nMinimum 10 years’ experience in Sales preferably Aerospace related\nAbility to work in a multi-cultural and international team\nFamiliarity with the Government Contracting process and military sales\nResults-driven, self-starter with a proven record of accomplishment in commercial/technical roles\nComfortable engaging customers at multiple levels in the organization\nDevelop and manage contracts spanning multiple SKF Aerospace manufacturing locations, both national and international\nAerospace technical aptitude \nAbility to work and motivate in a fast-paced team environment \n40% to 50% travel is required\nFamiliarity with PMA development and FAA regulations a plus\nWhat You’ll Love About SKF:\nRest and Relaxation.
