This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on delivering high-quality execution at OEM, distributor, and end-user sites. The Service Engineer plays a key role in supporting SKF’s strategy to move further up the value chain through solutions, services, and circular economy offerings.\nKey Responsibilities\nInstall, commission, and support Automatic Lubrication Systems (ALS) across OEM and end-user environments\nSupport first-of-kind and strategic installations, ensuring SKF quality and safety standards are met\nProvide on-site technical troubleshooting and early-life system support\nIndependently deliver smaller engineered lubrication installations\nProvide technical supervision and quality assurance for larger projects delivered via distributors or approved third-party installers\nDeliver structured technical training to customers, OEMs, distributors, and installer partners\nCarry out pump refurbishment and overhaul activities\nInstall, commission, and service RecondOil and circular economy solutions\nSupport local assembly builds, testing, and pre-delivery validation activities\nWhat we expect you to have\nHands-on experience with Automatic Lubrication Systems or similar mechanical / fluid systems\nStrong installation, commissioning, and fault-finding capability\nPractical mechanical background with a strong problem-solving mindset\nConfident working independently at customer sites\nCustomer-focused with strong communication skills\nWould be an asset:\nExperience working in OEM or heavy industrial environments\nExperience supporting or supervising distributor or third-party installer networks\nExposure to refurbishment, service, or lifecycle support activities\nInterest in sustainability, oil conditioning, or circular economy technologies\nInterfaces & Working Environment\nOEMs and end customers\nDistributors and approved third-party installers\nSales, Application Engineering, Service, and Customer Experience teams\nLocal assembly and operations teams\nAdditional information\nUK-based role with regular travel to customer, OEM, and distributor sites.\nPlease note that we can't accept applications via email, due to GDPR. \nIs this you?\nIf the answer is yes, submit your application with your CV and cover letter, as soon as possible and no later than October 16th , 2026.\nWe will screen candidates continuously throughout the application period, so make sure to submit your application as soon as possible.\nAt SKF, we are committed to promoting fairness and inclusivity throughout our recruitment process.
