And we do this work out of Care for our people, customers, communities, and the planet.\nWe’re a company committed to a culture of belonging, where all our people are encouraged to be themselves and grow their careers in an equitable environment.\nLearn about SKF at www.skf.com.\nPosition Summary\nThis position is responsible for performing clerical and physical tasks in connection with shipping goods and receiving incoming shipments.\nResponsibilities\nLift and move items/packages as required using safe lifting techniques.\nAbility to use the ERP system related to shipping, receiving, and inventory moves.\nEnsure all products picked up from production lines are put away in storage using FIFO, when applicable.\nProper picking techniques when picking customer orders from the finished goods locations using FIFO by the manufacturing date code, and stage for the next order verifier to confirm accuracy.\nPerform other functions in the shipping and receiving process as required.\nUse a computer as needed for communications and reference of documentation related to job requirements.\nMaintain housekeeping in the work areas including all products, labels, equipment, materials and supplies.\nTransport goods in company vehicles as required.\nPackage outgoing shipments and parcels.\nUse the UPS Worldship computer terminal for generating labels and preparing shipment documentation.\nParticipate in cycle counting as required.\nPerforms other duties as assigned or required.\nQualifications\nEducation: High School Diploma or Equivalent\nExperience: Experience driving a forklift. Experience in Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse.\nTechnical Skills: Must be computer literate and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.\n\nOther Requirements: Valid Driver’s License. Must be capable of comprehending written, quality instructions and standard operating procedures.
