You will design and implement automated software tests and the ecosystems in which they run. As a critical member of the robotics team, you will have an important role in defining the quality standards of our software while accelerating its development.\nResponsibilities\nDefine, implement, and maintain comprehensive regression tests for Skild AI’s software and products.\nDesign and organize test plans according to priority, impact, risk, and feasibility.\nDebug and troubleshoot failures in complex scenarios while testing and/or deployment at customer sites.\nMaintain robots and ensure they are deployment ready.\nRecreate corner cases from production logs into repeatable tests.\nCollaborate closely with robotic software developers and machine learning engineers and provide feedback on what needs to be improved to produce and sustain a top-quality product that meets customer expectations.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBS, MS or higher degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nProficiency developing in low-level systems languages (C, C++, Rust, Go) and Python.\nExperience with complex software systems working in real-time with embedded systems.\nExperience with Test Management and Requirements software.\nExperience with ROS/ROS2 or other robotics middleware platforms.\nPrevious work experience as a Test Engineer.\nPrior experience developing and deploying software on real robots.\nDeep understanding and practical experience with software engineering principles, including algorithms, data structures, and system design.\nFamiliarity with machine learning integration and deployment in robotic
