The teams are transforming Operations through Tech and Analytics.\n\nDo You Dream Big\n\nWe Need You.\n\nJob Description\nJob Title: Senior Manager, Data Science\nLocation: Bangalore (Onsite)\nReporting to: Director, Data & Analytics\n\nPURPOSE OF ROLE\nLead the hands-on delivery of difficult data science problems across major global programs. Take work from data pipelines and modeling through deployment and integration into high-priority products. Mentor data scientists and machine learning engineers, and turn useful methods into reusable packages that other programs can adopt.\n\nKEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES\nOwn complex data science problems end to end, from framing and data readiness through modeling, deployment, and product integration.\nDesign and implement data pipelines, models, and evaluation methods that hold up in production.\nExplore demanding problems across domains, selecting approaches that fit the evidence, business need, and delivery constraints.\nWrite production code, review others work, and improve reproducibility, testing, monitoring, and model quality.\nBuild reusable libraries and packages that make data science capabilities easier to integrate into multiple products and programs.\nPartner with engineers and global program teams to connect models and data products to real applications and workflows.\nMake sound technical and product judgments when a problem is ambiguous, and explain the tradeoffs clearly.\nManage and develop data scientists and machine learning engineers through goals, feedback, hands-on problem solving, and code review.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS\nEducation:\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nExperience: \nTypically 8+ years solving applied data science problems, including hands-on technical leadership and production delivery.
