team on Django ORM optimisation, DRF serialiser design, Celery task management, and secure session/auth patterns.\n\n- Oversee database migration strategies and ensure zero-downtime deployment of schema changes.\n\nJava / Spring Boot Development:\n\n- Architect and develop microservices and enterprise integrations using Java and Spring Boot.\n\n- Apply Spring ecosystem best practices: dependency injection, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Spring Cloud, and Actuator for observability.\n\n- Drive inter-service communication design (REST, gRPC, messaging via Kafka or RabbitMQ) and define service-level contracts.\n\n- Guide team members on Java concurrency, JVM tuning, and performance profiling.\n\nAWS Cloud & Infrastructure:\n\n- Define and oversee the cloud infrastructure strategy for team workloads on AWS.\n\n- Govern CI/CD pipelines, IaC (CloudFormation/Terraform), and deployment automation across environments.\n\n- Ensure secure, cost-optimised, and resilient architectures leveraging appropriate AWS managed services.\n\n- Act as the primary escalation point for production incidents, leading root-cause analysis and post-mortems.\n\nOverall Experience - Minimum 8 Years:\n\n- At least 8 years of progressive, commercial software engineering experience, with a clear trajectory from individual contributor toward technical leadership.\n\n- Demonstrable history of owning and delivering complex, multi-tier applications in production environments with high availability and reliability requirements.\n\n- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, including active participation in or facilitation of ceremonies.\n\n- Track record of effective cross-functional collaboration across product, QA, design, and infrastructure teams.\n\nLanguages & Frameworks:\n\n- Primary: Python 3 (Django, DRF, Celery), Java 11+ (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA).\n\n- Supporting: SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Bash scripting; JavaScript familiarity is a plus.\n\nDatabases & Caching:\n\n- Relational: PostgreSQL (primary), MySQL/MariaDB/Oracle.\n\nAWS Services:\n\n- Compute & Containers: EC2, ECS (Fargate), EKS, Lambda, Auto Scaling Groups.\n\n- Networking: VPC, ALB/NLB, API Gateway, CloudFront, Route 53, PrivateLink.\n\n- Storage & Messaging: S3, RDS/Aurora, ElastiCache, SQS, SNS, MSK.\n\n- Security: IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager,
