In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a critical part in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable network architectures while proactively identifying and mitigating threats across the organization. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with a security-first mindset and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.\nResponsibilities\nManage secure network infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance.\nAdminister and maintain Cisco security platforms including ASA, Umbrella, Secure Internet Gateway (SIG), and Meraki solutions.\nOperate and optimize Azure networking services, including VNets, NSGs, routing, and hybrid connectivity.\nMonitor, detect, and respond to security threats using industry-standard tooling and intelligence sources.\nPerform proactive threat hunting and investigation activities to identify and mitigate emerging risks.\nManage vulnerability scanning and remediation processes using tools such as Tenable, ensuring timely risk reduction.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure infrastructure design and alignment with enterprise security standards.\nDrive continuous improvement in network security posture, implementing best practices and automation where possible.\nSupport incident response activities, including root cause analysis, containment, and remediation planning.\nSkills & Experience Required\n5+ years of professional experience in network and security engineering roles with strong hands-on expertise in enterprise environments with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience\nProven experience administering Cisco ASA firewalls and security platforms including Umbrella and SIG.\nSolid understanding of Azure networking, including secure design and connectivity patterns.\nExperience managing Meraki network environments, including configuration, monitoring, and optimization.\nStrong knowledge of threat detection, incident response, and security operations principles.\nHands-on experience with threat hunting methodologies and tools.\nExperience using vulnerability management platforms such as Tenable to identify and remediate risks.\nStrong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience working in hybrid cloud environments with integrated on-prem and cloud network security models.\nFamiliarity with zero trust networking principles and modern secure access approaches.\nExposure to security automation and orchestration tools (e.g., SOAR, scripting).\nRelevant certifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, or Azure Networking/Security certifications.\nSkillsoft uses AI-enabled tools to screen applications.
